New and updated "My Pages"

A new and updated version of Gildi's "My Pages" went live earlier this week, following work on the update over the past few months. Among other things, the updated site now features a new and powerful pension calculator. The connection to the pension portal has been improved, allowing members to view information on their pension entitlements at other pension funds in the country. Data security has also been enhanced and the user flow improved.

New pension calculator

"The website has been in continuous development in recent years, with the aim of making it easier for Gildi's members to access information about their entitlements and status. In this update, we focused on offering a powerful pension calculator so that members can estimate, more simply and accurately than before, what pension entitlements will be available to them once their working life ends," says Ágústa Hrönn Gísladóttir, Head of Gildi's Pension Division. "Following the change, members can now also register their phone numbers and email addresses on My Pages, which is very important both for the fund and for users. This allows us to send important information about pension entitlements to those who want it," Ágústa adds.

New update ensures greater security

"What users should notice after the update is that the site has been better tailored to mobile phones and other smart devices than before, since we can see that most members use such devices when visiting the site. The entire user flow has also been reviewed and improved," says Skúli Geir Jensson, Head of IT at Gildi, who has led the work on reviewing the website in recent months. "The biggest change, however, lies in the technology behind the site, which ensures better data security than was possible on the old site. But when it comes to maintaining Gildi's My Pages, the work never really ends, and we are already turning our attention to the next projects and the next update," Skúli concludes.
