Interested in serving on a company board?
Gildi Pension Fund is looking for experienced individuals interested in board membership at companies, with the fund's support. The fund is seeking people both to serve on the boards of companies listed on the Iceland Stock Exchange and of unlisted companies in which the fund is among the largest shareholders.
Applicants must meet the general eligibility requirements of the law on board membership, but other criteria or requirements on the part of the fund may vary depending on the circumstances in each case.
The selection of board members whom Gildi nominates or supports for board membership is based on a professional process in which factors such as education, professional knowledge, experience, competence and suitability are examined. Particular attention is paid to the composition of company boards with regard to diverse expertise and gender balance, and to ensuring that there are no conflicts of interest between individual board members and the company concerned.
All applications received by the fund are treated as confidential. Gildi will be in touch if the fund wishes to nominate or support the applicant concerned for board membership.
